What is Global Ready Talent Programme (GRT)?
The Global Ready Talent Programme (GRT) is designed to help companies invest in young talent through full-time internships that last anything between 4 weeks to 12 months, by providing funding support on the monthly internship allowance. This helps Singapore enterprises pipeline suitable talent that can support their manpower requirements.
- Local internships
- Overseas internships: In your offices in Southeast Asia, China, India and other developing markets
- Hybrid internships: Includes minimum 4-weeks internship in Singapore and 2-week internship overseas
Who is it for?
Full-time Singaporean or PR interns who are full-time students from eligible institutions, including ITE, Polytechnics and Universities.
University Student
Pursuing a full-time undergraduate degree from any of the following IHLs:
- Nanyang Technological University
- National University of Singapore
- Singapore Institute of Technology
- Singapore Management University
- Singapore University of Social Sciences
- Singapore University of Technology and Design
- Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts
- SIM Global Education
- LASALLE College of the Arts
- University of the Arts Singapore
Minimum Monthly Internship Allowance: $1,000
Polytechnic or ITE Student
NITEC or Higher NITEC Student
Full-time NITEC or Higher NITEC student OR pursuing a full-time diploma from any of the following IHLs:
- Nanyang Polytechnic
- Ngee Ann Polytechnic
- Republic Polytechnic
- Singapore Polytechnic
- Temasek Polytechnic
- Institute of Technical Education
Minimum Monthly Internship Allowance: $800

After the end of the internship, you will then make the GRT claims by submitting all the necessary documents. After the GRT claims are submitted and approved, the GRT funding will be disbursed to you.
