What is Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG)?

The Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) helps Singapore companies improve their productivity and automate existing processes through IT solutions, equipment and consultancy projects from a pre-approved list of vendors.

There are generally 2 types of PSG solutions which are relevant to all sectors:

  • PSG for IT Solutions
  • PSG for Consultancy

What is the funding amount?

Eligible companies can receive up to 50% funding for pre-approved PSG solutions.

PSG for IT Solutions

Up to 50% of eligible costs for eligible local SMEs, capped at $30,000 per company per year

  • For pre-approved solutions under the IMDA SMEs Go Digital programme
  • Refreshes on 1 April every year. This means that if you have not fully utilised the $30,000 PSG funding for the year, any balance amount will be forfeited, and replaced with a fresh $30,000 budget allocation on 1 April.

PSG for Consultancy

Up to 50% of eligible costs, capped at $30,000 per company one-time

  • For Job Redesign Consultancy projects from vendors pre-approved by Workforce Singapore (WSG)
  • For SMEs: Up to 50%
  • For non-SMEs: Up to 30%
  • PSG funding for Consultancy does not refresh on an annual basis.

Eligible companies can receive a one-off $10,000 SkillsFuture Enterprise Credit (SFEC) to cover up to 90% of out-of-pocket expense after PSG funding.

Illustrative Example

  • PSG Funding for eligible SMEs: 50% * $12,000 = $6,000 PSG Funding
  • SFEC Funding for eligible SMEs: 90% * $6,000 = $5,400 SFEC Funding

  • Net Cash Outlay after PSG & SFEC Funding: $12,000 - $6,000 - $5,400 = $600 for one year of HRSS

HR & Recruitment Pre-Approved PSG Solutions under WorkJoy group of companies

SMEs are eligible for up to 50% Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) support for the adoption of the following Pre-Approved Solutions under the IMDA SMEs Go Digital programme. Can sole proprietors and partnerships apply for PSG?
Yes, sole proprietors and partnerships incorporated and operating in Singapore can apply for PSG.
Can my company submit multiple PSG applications at the same time?

If your company is eligible for PSG, you can apply for multiple PSG pre-approved solutions concurrently as long as they are for different scope of services / activities supported.

Where can I find interns to hire?
Your company can put in more than one PSG application, depending on your business needs.
  • For IT solutions (HRSS and ATS): Support can be extended for one package per solution category per deployment location. Deployment locations are defined based on postal code (i.e. different unit numbers with the same postal code will be deemed as the same deployment location)

  • For consultancy (JR): Support can be extended for multiple packages up to the funding cap of $30,000 per company.
What is the Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) and who can apply?

How do I apply for the Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG)?

To apply for the Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG), businesses must first identify a relevant solution that suits their needs, such as HR software or digital tools, from the list of pre-approved PSG vendors.
After selecting a solution, you can submit your application via the Business Grants Portal, providing necessary documents, such as the solution vendor’s quotation. Once your application is approved, you’ll receive funding support to offset the cost of the productivity solution, helping improve your business operations.

How long does it take for my PSG application to be approved?

Processing time varies, but most applications typically receive approval within 6-8 weeks. Businesses should ensure they meet all criteria and provide all accurate documentation before submission to avoid delays.

How do I submit claims for PSG?

For PSG claims submission, you will need to log in to the Business Grants Portal and submit your claim after completing the purchase and implementation of the approved solution. You will be required to provide necessary documents, such as the signed quotation, invoice, payment proof and usage report.
Once your claims submission is completed and reviewed, the funding support is typically disbursed to your business within 3 months.

Can my company submit multiple PSG applications at the same time?

Aside from digital solutions, consultancy services related to Job Redesign (JR) are also covered under the PSG-JR scheme through our partner, NTUC LearningHub.
